For Christmas

All I wanted for Christmas,

Is to wake up to you that day.

To wear our matching jumpers,

And see the twinkling display.

To give each other presents

That sit under the tree.

To kiss under the mistletoe,

Singing Christmas songs badly.

Its ok to still want those things,

Even knowing it will never be.
